Bee Crafty Kids #7| Homemade Bath Paints

Welcome to the 7th Bee Crafty Kids link up here at To the Moon and Back!

*Note:  My husband has been in the hospital this week and so I am sharing with you an archived post.

Looking for a way to make bath time more fun? Why don’t you try out some homemade bath paints! Kids have a blast and they are super easy to make with ingredients that you have lying around your house.

First gather up some baby wash, hand soap, or some shampoo.  Make sure that is is not colored.  Place 1/2 cup of the soap in a bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to the soap.

Mix well.

Pour into an ice cube tray.  The mixture will make six different paints.

Add 2-3 drops of food coloring to each section.

Mix the food coloring in well.  I used a toothpick to stir mine up.  Now you’re ready for some painting fun!

Here is Gabby’s drawing in its beginning stages.

Then later, Aron drew a mass of color.  He loved experimenting to see what colors he could make by mixing the paints.

Easy peasy and loads of fun. It will all rinse off with water, so clean up is simple!

Now it’s time for YOU to share what you and your children have been crafting!

Feel free to grab a button so others can find us!
