A Presidential Affair {FREE Printables!}

Welcome to this month’s Poppins Book Nook!

This month’s theme was Presidents.  We chose a fun book entitled, Woodrow, the White House Mouse by Peter W. Barnes.

This book is a fun way to introduce younger children to the office of the President and it’s role in America.  Using rhyme and fun pictures, you’ll follow the election and life of Woodrow, the mouse elected by the United Mice of America to serve as their leader.
Some other books that we enjoyed this month:

For this month’s activities, I created some flashcards to help my children begin to learn the names of all the presidents and some corresponding coloring pages!

The flashcards include the names and dates of the terms served of each of the 44 presidents. For best results, print them on cardstock and laminate.

The coloring pages include a quote from each president.
To receive these presidential freebies, enter your email address below and follow the directions that will follow!

Make sure that you swing by and check out more president themed fun from the rest of the Poppins Book Nook Bloggers and then link up your own fun!
