It’s time for the letter M in the ABCs of Scented Playdough series!
This week we decided on mint chocolate scented playdough!
This recipes just makes me want a ton of junk food. Mmm…chocolate. Mmm…mint.
When I was in high school, my best friend and I used to regularly make trips to Dairy Queen for Mint Oreo Blizzards. I’m feeling nostalgic.
Anyway, to make this deliciously scented sensory dough, just scrounge around for a few simple ingredients. I used my trusty homemade playdough recipe as the base and just added in one more ingredient.
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup salt
- 2 packets Duncan Hines Mint Chocolate Frosting Creations
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 tsp white vinegar
Put all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir. Heat over medium heat until it begins to clump together.
When the dough starts to form a ball, but has just a little bit of stickiness left to it, remove it from the pan and allow to cool on the counter for a few minutes.
Knead well. Allow to cool completely and then play, play, play!
