It’s time for the letter U in the ABCs of Scented Playdough series!
This week, we made Upside Down Pineapple Cake scented playdough.
Now, this won’t smell exactly like a cake, but the two biggest proponents of the standard upside down pineapple cake recipe are pineapple and cherry. I focused on those two ingredients to create this scent.
To make it, you’ll need:
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp cream of tartar
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 pkg island pineapple flavored Jello
- 1 pkg cherry KoolAid
- 1 cup water
Mix all ingredients together in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat. Stir until the dough begins to clump together and loses the stickiness.
Remove from pan, allow to cool slightly, and knead. If needed, add a few more tablespoons of flour.
Tropical smelling fun!
