It’s time for the letter Z in the ABCs of Scented Playdough series! We’ve finally made it to the end of the series! Phew, it’s been a lot of hard work
This week we enjoyed a summery scent and made zesty citrus scented playdough.
For this recipe I decided to test out one that I found on Pinterest. It comes from Teaching Mama. I made a few adaptations to her recipe to get our citrus smell.
In lieu of water, I used orange juice. After it was cooked and cooled, I grated the zest of half of one lemon and half of one lime and then kneaded it into the dough.
Very simple and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. This scent reminds me of lemonade!
And we’re done! Twenty six letters and twenty six varieties of playdough scents for fun sensory play! Thank you so much for tuning in to this series. It’s been fun creating these recipes and sharing them with you all!
Stay tuned! In a few weeks, a NEW ABCs of series will begin!
