G is for Gathering Disciples

Can you imagine going about your daily routine and then one day having the Son of God stop and call you to follow Him?  It’s an amazing thought to ponder on and I’ve often wondered how the twelve men that Jesus chose to be his trusted circle felt when He first called out to them. Deep down in the pit of their stomachs–what did they feel?

I don’t know about you, but I’m very much looking forward to the day when I can sit at the feet of my Savior. Amazing.

These twelve ordinary men put their entire lives aside to follow and serve Jesus Christ. To help children learn about these twelve men, I have created this free printable card game that helps children learn the names of the apostles.  It is a variant of the classic “Old Maid” that I’ve called “Fishers of Men.”
