Building fine motor skills is an integral part of preschool and early elementary lessons. I like to work on these skills in ways that aren’t obvious to my children. In our school lessons we cut paper into shapes, color pictures for family members, fingerpaint, or use lacing cards. I also like to use books. Yes, books!
