Memorial Day is seen as the opening day for summer activities, but it has a historical significance that should not be missed amid the celebrations. These Memorial Day activities can be incorporated into your regular daily lessons or used stand alone.
Red Poppies are the international symbol for remembering the men and women who have fought for a cause larger than themselves. Show your support by wearing or displaying your own “poppies” on Memorial Day.
